TT-301 and TT302 are small molecule compounds that have demonstrated efficacy in preclinical models of rheumatoid arthritis and Alzheimer's disease. In pre-clinical studies, TT-301/302 have been shown to act by inhibiting the overproduction of inflammatory cytokines, such as interleukin-1 (IL-1ß), tumour necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), a key disease process associated with many inflammatory and degenerative diseases.
Key Properties of TT301/TT302
• Small molecule anti-inflammatory compounds
• Suppress macrophage and glial cell activation
• Inhibit proinflammatory cytokine production and release
• Orally bioavailable and cross the blood-brain-barrier
Potential indications
• Phase I studies expected in Q1/2012
